Gifts
Books to keep, and to give.
Made with care, in paper and ebook, for the person who will open one and know it was chosen for them.
Where to start
One for each kind of reader. They are bought one at a time, from Amazon, for the person you have in mind.
Why they give well
Made to be kept
Large print, generous pages and a quiet design. Nothing here is meant to be put away after a week.
Easy to choose for someone else
You do not have to know their taste in puzzles. The Quiet Garden is about flowers, herbs and slow afternoons, and it is kind to tired eyes.
A book for each kind of light
Activity books for the day and fiction for the late hours: one for the person who likes a quiet morning, one for the person who reads after dark.
How to give one
- Choose a book above and go to Amazon with the button under it.
- At the checkout, pick the address of the person you are giving it to, and look for the gift options Amazon offers on the page: a message, wrapping, a receipt that shows no price.
- Rather hand it over yourself? Order it to your own address, and print the card below to go with it.
A few questions
Can I send it to another country?
The button takes readers in the UK and Ireland to amazon.co.uk, and everyone else to amazon.com. Amazon shows you where it can deliver before you pay.
Can I give more than one?
Each book is bought on its own for now. A pack of two is something we would like to make one day; the Sunday Paper is where you will hear first.
And the ebook?
The first fiction volume will come as an ebook. Ask to be told, and we will write when it is out.
